Dan Hanson was born in Bozeman, Montana, and raised in Johnson City, Tennessee. Dan moved in 2001 to Kennewick, Washington, and graduated from Kennewick High School in 2003. At Kennewick, Dan marched in the 2001 Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, in the Kennewick High School Marching Band. His abilities have led him to work for KNDU-TV. Dan started as a part-time production assistant and advanced to a full-time director in just six months; Dan has worked for KNDU-TV for over seven years. Dan discovered his love for sports when his Dad introduced him to baseball at the age of 5. At Full Sail University, Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Sportscasting at the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting and graduated in 2022 at the top of his class, earning the Valedictorian award. Dan has been working closely with the sports department at KNDU-TV, directing their Football and Basketball weekly finale shows, as well as shooting games and writing and editing highlights. One of Dan's main goals would be to move to Cleveland, Ohio, and pursue a career as a sportscaster for the Cleveland Indians.
